How to Have Proactive Confidence
Successful soccer players have proactive confidence. That means they train and work on their mental game just as much as they work to improve their skills, strength, and speed.
Soccer players with proactive confidence use positive visualization, they focus on their strengths, and they don’t let doubts, mistakes, or their opponent control their confidence.
Reactive confidence in soccer in the opposite.
Players with reactive confidence don’t work on their mental game. Thus their confidence is not stable and often changes from play to play or game to game. Doubts and negative thinking stop them from reaching their peak consistently.
